Hi. I’m Ashley. I work where process meets people, and things break quietly.
Clarity in Chaos is my blog where I write about systems, identity, and the way they crash into each other (sometimes working out for the better).
This space is intentionally tangential (because so is my brain). Most of the work that matters isn’t clean or chronological. It’s nonlinear. I write to name those things, to track the invisible labour, and try to make sense of why we stick with broken processes just because they’re familiar.
If you’re too curious for one job title, too empathetic to ignore bad systems, or ever felt like the unofficial bridge between how it should work and how it actually works, you’ll probably feel at home here.
My Tangents
Sometimes you’ll see me reflect on how I came to hold the beliefs I do, through the lens of my career. Sometimes I’ll rant about workarounds pretending to be processes. Sometimes I’ll write love letters to constraints. Always, I’m searching for the thread that makes it all make sense.
